Teaching Methods & Approach
What teaching methods do you use? We use proven Orton-Gillingham methods—time-tested, research-based structured literacy approaches that have helped thousands of children with dyslexia become successful readers.
What is the Orton-Gillingham approach? Orton-Gillingham is a structured, systematic, multi-sensory approach to teaching reading that is particularly effective for students with dyslexia. It focuses on building foundational literacy skills through explicit instruction.
Are sessions one-on-one or in groups? All of our reading intervention sessions are personalized one-on-one support. Every child receives individualized attention tailored to their unique learning style and needs.
How do you personalize instruction for each child? We tailor instruction to each child’s unique learning style, current skill level, and specific needs. This ensures they build confidence while mastering essential reading skills at their own pace.
Family Support & Progress
How are parents involved in the process? We believe in whole family support. Parents receive ongoing guidance, resources, and support to help reinforce learning at home, creating a complete support system for your child’s success.
How will I know if my child is making progress? You’ll receive regular progress updates that allow you to track your child’s growth and celebrate their achievements as they build the skills needed for lifelong literacy success.
Do you provide advocacy support? Yes! We offer professional advocacy services to support families during CSE meetings and help ensure your child receives the accommodations and services they need to succeed in school.
