Reading Evaluations

If you are unsure what steps to take next for your student, consider our professional reading evaluation. While this is not a formal dyslexia diagnosis, our reading evaluation assesses reading comprehension, fluency, decoding, spelling, and phonological awareness. 

The one-on-one evaluation is administered by our CEO, Jennifer Hoffman. In 2016, Jennifer took Susan Barton’s 60 hour Seminar where she was trained to administer CTOPP-2 (Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing) along with several other assessments to gain a full understanding of a student’s reading strengths and weaknesses. 

The evaluation provides an eight-page report that includes diagnostic conclusions and a summary of findings. The results will provide you a detailed and honest assessment of the student’s reading capability as you move forward with deciding on appropriate reading intervention.
