Reading Instructor – 70 Hours Orton Gillingham Associate Level Training

Hello! My name is Zoë, and I have been a part of this incredible team as a reading instructor for two years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Fredonia where I developed an interest in literacy education, and my master’s degree is in Literacy Education (B–6) from SUNY New Paltz.
I believe that learning is a collaborative process and meaningful reading instruction starts with understanding the reader and seeing who they are beyond the learning environment. I like to meet students where they are, connecting instruction to how they learn best while providing the tools and support they need.
My passion for literacy continues to grow through the students I teach, and I feel honored every day that I get to help them build confidence in themselves as readers. Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, being in nature, playing the piano, and film photography. I look forward to getting to know and working with your child!
